All These Things I hate (acoustic)
This is tone demo for the Gibson SG Classic Guitar with P-90 pickups, played through a Peavey Valveking VK-100 Head with a Peavey Windsor 4x12 cab. It was mic'd with a shure sm-57. The sound is what I am demonstrating here, I know that it looks like I am having a seizure and my playing is crap, but hopefully you will get an idea of what the Gibson SG Classic sounds like through an amp on the overdrive channel (I have the gain up on the gain channel about 40%). No effects or pedals, just guitar and amp. It is a great guitar so far, and I have not experienced any of the "hum" that is usually associated with P-90 pickups. I cranked the amp, and still no hum. All the other Youtube videos featuring the SG classic have a hum, so hopefully this one will set your mind at ease.

Brazillian Rosewood on a brazillian Mahogany 1 piece guitar ! This guitar has 24 frets and it has the gibson 24 & 3/4 scale length with a 12 radius like a Les Paul and it has endless sustain like you would not believe due to Rushmore's type of construction ! Late 60's mini Humbuckers off a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in the neck and middle and a 1968 Gibson Sg full size Hum in the bridge position make this thing just Phenominal as does it's 1 piece design ! This is a true Frankenstein monster guitar if ever there was one ! Eddie Van Halen shut up and sit down at your 25 thousand dollar Fender knock offs with the neck pickup that doesn't work -you should be , along with those greedy corporate slobs at Fender be beaten with rods to within an inch of your life for that rediculous price : you gluttons , as if you ain't got enough money !!! Sorry , I just had to get that off my chest , it needs being said - ahem ! It really does sound like both a Gibson SG or Les Paul/Stratocaster or a true Les Strat0paul0caster ! Ha ! Capturing the magic of both guitar builders of the big Two Fender funability and Whammy bar stays in tune with the locking tuners and full steel block for ultimate tone and graphite nut and gibson's wood and tone combonations ala pickups but with the three pickups placed like a strat and 5 position switch it just puts it out there like you always dreamed it would - ultimate classic tones !- like Paul Reed Smith always wanted to do and I make no bones or pretense about it copycating the two greatest guitars everbuilt for rock or blues because it blows away His guitar design being a 1 piece solid guitar design ! The electronics are also all top of the line paper and oil caps on the tone control for that warm brown sound ! The finish is nitrocellulose Lacquer not polyure a lame and no exspense is spared to make it right ! This has brazillian pickup surrounds and knobs I call this guitar : Brazil !
